How do I make a booking?
It is easy!! After you have made contact, we will arrange a suitable time for an initial consultation to meet both you and your pet in your own home and fill out an Owner/Pet Profile form where we gather some information to ensure we can give you the best possible experience using our service. We will tailor a package to suit your needs and provide you with pricing for your required solution. Once you have decided to use our service, you can send us an email or just a simple phone call will do to ensure we can cater for the dates requested. We will then send you a confirmation email and follow up with a phone call to discuss any further details and arrange key pick up. Existing customer only need to contact us via email, phone or text and advise their required dates and a confirmation invoice will be sent.
What happens if there is an emergency?
“Executive Pets” have an "Emergency Disaster Plan" in place and as part of this policy we will call you immediately. If we are unable to contact you, we will then call your nominated emergency contacts. We also will get you to sign a Vet Release Form to allow us to get medical assistance if required.
Do you have insurance?
Yes, we have it all covered. “Executive Pets” has full Public Liability cover, however we do our utmost at all times to ensure that we do not need it.
What animals do you care for?
“Executive Pets”care for all animals, large or small including, horses and reptiles. The only exceptions are aggressive dogs and those without adequate vaccinations for walking and venomous reptiles due to NSW Parks & Wildlife licensing requirements.
Do I need to drop my pet off anywhere for your services?
No. All pet care services are provided from the convenience of your own home, however we will need to organise a copy of any keys required for access.
How frequently do you visit my pet?
“Executive Pets” tailor solutions to suit you and your pets’ needs. However, we do recommend at least 2 visits per day, morning and afternoon/evening to allow us to provide an excellent level of care and companionship to your pets.
My pet has a special diet and needs regular medication – can I still use “Executive Pets”?
Most definitely, that is why we are here – we are dedicated to tailoring the right solution for your pets needs as we understand that they all have different requirements. We will discuss any special needs with you at the consultation so that you can receive the best service that we can offer.
How do you transport my pets?
Dogs will be transported in a fully air conditioned vehicle and harnessed at all times. Cats are transported in cat carriers. You must provide a secure cage/container for other small pets or reptiles. Pets will never be left unattended in our vehicles. We do not have a transport service for horses or other large animals but if you have a horse float available for us to use, we can then transport horses if the need arises.
Do you walk my dog in extreme weather or rain?
No. In summer we try to exercise your dogs early in the morning as it is much cooler and helps to wear them out for the day, therefore, they are less likely to become destructive and board. Winter time walking is normally carried out during the middle of the day once home pet care visits are finished. We do not walk dogs in the rain due to them becoming ill will chills and need to also maintain our health so we can give you the best care possible.
Do I need to supply anything for the dog walking/playtime service?
We do recommend that you provide your own collar and lead to ensure the correct fit and comfort to your dog. We do carry spare leads and collars in our vehicles. You may need to supply a wet weather coat for walking if required by your dog.
Will my home be secure?
We understand that security is important when you are away from your property. Our carers’ are fully police and reference checked so you can trust the person visiting your home. You also get to meet your carer so you feel confident that your pets and home are left in trustworthy hands.
How do I pay?
Payments can be made by cash, cheque, direct deposit or Paypal. All payments are to be made prior to our services commencing.
How do I know if you have been?
